Tansy Kaschak is a journalist, artist, and activist working on global creative projects and on initiatives to address environmental and social urgencies.
A polyglot communicator, Tansy uses her work across all platforms and mediums to inspire and educate people around the world on how to be more conscious, celebrate diversity, and minimize the impacts of travel and modern life on nature.
Her reportage work has been featured in numerous publications including Condé Nast Traveller online and printed UK and US magazines, Vogue, Cool Hunting, GQ, and she has authored travel guides for Brazilian independent publisher Pulp Edições. She is also the Latin America Editor and Sustainability Editor of award-winning travel and culture website A Hotel Life.
Motivated by her experience as a professional explorer and innate commitment to environmental respect and social action, Tansy acts as a next-generation Creative & Sustainability Consultant, helping human-focused businesses––in hospitality and beyond––identify and tackle not only their ecological responsibility, but all creative opportunities to sustain their message and services into a longer life.
As an artist, Tansy uses video and scent to create non-verbal narratives that investigate the relationship between humans, nature, and technology, exploring how sensorial phenomena affect our individual and collective memory and worldly experience. In 2018, she participated on Katja Loher’s solo exhibition What Is The Color Of Scent? at C24 Gallery in Chelsea, NYC and in New Delhi, India, and in 2019 participated on two shows in New York City: Mythologia Libre with artist Carlito Dalceggio, and HIGH ON HERTZ with artists Moral Tugerman and Kelsey Falter.
Tansy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and a Master’s Degree in Cinema, TV and Audiovisual Creative Projects, which combined with her expertise as a communication curator, led to fruitful collaborations with the world’s most prestigious artists and brands, bringing stories to tangible life via her work with Italian Century-old printer and publisher Nava Press.
