Tansy Kaschak is an Italian Brazilian Journalist, Artist and Activist based in New York City.
A polyglot communicator, Tansy has chosen travel journalism as her to way to explore the world, celebrate nature, connect with other cultures and individuals, and to deepen her humanitarian studies and artistic practices.
Her reportage work has been featured in numerous publications including Condé Nast Traveller online and printed UK and US magazines, Vogue, Cool Hunting, A Hotel Life, and authored travel guides for Pulp Edições.
As an artist, Tansy explores how sensorial phenomena and the environment affect our individual and collective emotional memory, using video and scent to create non-verbal narratives through the allegorical interpretation of natural scenarios. In 2018, she participated on Katja Loher’s solo exhibition What Is The Color Of Scent? at C24 Gallery in Chelsea, NYC and in New Delhi, India, and is currently part of two shows happening in New York City: Mythologia Libre with artist Carlito Dalceggio, and HIGH ON HERTZ with artists Moral Tugerman and Kelsey Falter.
Tansy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and a Master’s Degree in Cinema, TV and Audiovisual Creative Projects, which combined with her expertise as a communication curator, led to fruitful collaborations with private clients and the world’s most prestigious artists and brands, helping them bring stories to life via her work with Italian Century-old printer and publisher Nava Press.
